PATRICK BRENNAN:

pictureA furious, Oliver Lake-ish alto saxophonist. Brennan knows his way around rhythms. His compositions draw on jazz, noise plus what's in-between. They’re Clipped but expansive, and they work because the rhythms set up his harmonic and textural explorations.
